From a Seiko 5 Sports SNZG09K1 to a Hamilton Khaki Field or vintage Rolex Submariner, this tough, versatile nylon watch strap continues the tradition started by the British Ministry of Defence with their seminal 1973 DefStan for military watch straps.

These watch straps have come a long way since the original Admiralty Grey 18mm 'G10' bands of decades ago. But one thing that hasn't changed is their ruggedness and versatility. And the added security you get from having your watch attached to the strap independently at two points. If you should 'pop' a spring bar, perhaps while swinging a rucksack onto your back, the second spring bar should keep your strap and watch connected.

In a great range of military colours - admiralty (gunmetal) grey, army green, desert sand (khaki) and standard black, that give it a combat-ready military feel, or appealing neutrality in other day-to-day contexts. Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
