Update 2 weeks later — tried a replacement, hoped from a different batch. But this one was even less safe, no safety seals or even tape, and not even a product box, just a ready-to-ship baggie. Really sad, really needed this for a family member with low saliva, mouth psoriasis, and chewing-swallowing problems. No idea what to try next bc most products we have seen here have so many chemicals, sweeteners, and flavorings that are harsh for us, they would be impossible to use, worseners. But, packaging was unsafe — safety tape on outside of cap, but no actual safety seal inside, cap was simple, loose screw-on not flip-top, and gel was leaking. Amazon ai said to not use, and to request a replacement or refund. So we chatted with Amazon customer service, and they refunded. We hope a replacement from a different batch will be safer.
