Red cherry - Strawberry - Fresh
Château Cambon is an estate that was was taken over by Marcel Lapierre and Jean-Claude Chanudet in 1995, and is now run by Jean-Claude and Marcel's wife Marie. Gamay comes from 80-year-old vines planted on granitic soils with a small amount of clay. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo whole bunch carbonic maceration in tank. This delivers lashings of bright red cherries and strawberries with a fresh sour berry finish.
