In contrast to conventional HPS lamps Plantastar lamps possess a broader light spectrum that results in shorter production times, healthier plants and improved CO2 assimilation.

For optimal outcomes it is recommended to replace the bulbs every 9-12 months.

Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
