In 2006 nam Frank het bedrijf van zijn stiefvader over, in 2009 bracht hij zijn eerste eigen gebottelde oogst op de markt. Met succes. Alle wijnen stuk voor stuk goed. De wijngaarden liggen in het zuidelijkste puntje van de Pfalz, waar de druiven geen moeite hebben om tot optimale rijping te komen. Voor deze Riesling worden ze eerst ontsteelt en later gerijpt op gebruikte houten vaten. De naam Pfalz is afkomstig uit het Latijn: Palatium, hetgeen paleis betekent. Ook wel genoemd “het Toscane van Duitsland” vanwege klimaat en vegetatie. (Rheinland) Pfalz is het op één na grootste Anbaugebiet van Duitsland, grenzend aan Rheinhessen in het noorden en de Elzas in het zuiden. Dankzij de Atlantische oceaan heerst er een mild klimaat met relatief weinig regen. De wind komt vanuit het westen. In de zomer is het meestal warm en zonnig. In de winter worden de druiven door het Haardtgebergte tegen koude oostenwind beschermt en in de zomer houdt deze gebergte juist de warmte vast. De ideale omstandigheden voor druiven dus. Als we de Riesling inschenken wordt de neus gedomineerd door een boeket dat doet denken aan verse citrusvruchten, zoete kersen en zoute minerale. In de mond een sappige, frisse, knapperige wijn met een vleugje kruiden. Een elegante wijn met een lichte bitterzoete afdronk. Powerful Mug Warmer with Excellent Heat Output and Large Heating Surface

CAUTION: Unplug when not using. It is very easy to activate or turn on by mistake. Simply brushing up next to it will turn it on.
Nonetheless, I use this SWEETFULL coffee mug warmer every morning and afternoon. It’s usually one of the first things I turn on so I can preheat my latte cup before pulling espresso. I like my lattes very hot, and preheating the cup helps prevent heat loss during extraction. I also use it as a candle warmer as an alternative to open flame, which I prefer for indoor air quality.
The heat output is impressive. Even on the lowest setting, it gets very hot and reaches usable temperature quickly. The large heating surface is a major advantage. My latte and cappuccino cups have a wide mouth, and this warmer heats the entire base evenly rather than just the center, which makes a noticeable difference in temperature retention.
Warm-up time is reasonable, though slightly faster heating would make it even better, especially during busy mornings when I’m trying to get out the door. That said, it’s not slow enough to be a real drawback, and once it’s hot, it performs consistently.
Overall, this is a strong performer that does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s a great option for coffee lovers who want hotter drinks for longer, and for candle users who prefer a flame-free, cleaner alternative inside the home.

Best mug warmer I have tried

I am retired and use my mug warmer pretty much all day. I normally start my day with a cup of coffee and then switch to tea the rest of the day. Even when I work on projects around the house or leave to run errands, there is a cup of something on the warmer. So there is basically a mug on the warmer from 7 am until midnight making a good quality mug warmer a necessity.
I have tried two other mug warmers and with mixed results. The others I tried both turned on automatically activated by the weight of the mug which I did like. However, there we a few times when I left a mug on the warmer overnight so that design has it's flaws, and now that I have tried it, I prefer the four hour auto shut off feature of this model. I also like the three temperatures settings....a lot. The high temp setting (and it's hot) comes in real handy when you need to reheat a mug's contents after it shuts off when left unattended. I also use it when I make instant oatmeal in a ceramic bowl that has a thick bottom and it keeps the contents hot. Plus the middle and low end settings are nice so you can change the temperature of the contents to suit your mood.
One design feature I have really come to appreciate is the no slip bottom. This mug warmer stays put and does not slide around on the table top. A real nice feature if you have furniture made from wood or other finish that might otherwise get scratched.
The soft touch switch on this mug warmer blends in with the wood design of the model I have which does make it a bit harder to see, especially in low light settings. However, it is directly opposite the power cord so I have gotten use to locating it by feel and activating it by a swipe of one finger....it's pretty cool once you get used to it. Plus the indicator light is easy to see and know what setting the warmer is on.
After having used this mug warmer for a while now I have really come to appreciate the quality and features this unit has for the price. The others I tried were as much as $10 more and not nearly as nice...and obviously did not last very long. One thing worth pointing out is the hot setting is very hot. If you have small toddlers in the house who use things to help them stand up and balance, this might not be the best model to choose. But that is the only real negative I can think of really. In my opinion, and this is all about that, this is a great mug warmer at any price point and I can recommend it without hesitation.

Worth more than $20 I paid!

I was very surprised with how expensive this felt and looked while still being affordable. It has several levels and kept my coffee hot. I love my coffee really hot and this kept it there for hours. Word of advice not all coffee cups will work it needs to be all ceramic or glass and cup handle will get hot.

My tea stays warm to the bottom of the cup!!!
I am so glad I purchased this mug water. I drink tea all day but it cools down quickly. Since I purchased this mug warmer my tea stays hot to the bottom of the cup. The temperature is adjustable so you can keep your drink at your desired temperature. The top is glass and wipes clean easily. I like the rubber gasket that fits on top of the warmer. It keeps your mug in the center of the warmer and should you have a spill it catches the liquid. I've been using it every day for over a month now and it's going strong and is reliable. Perfect for personal use or as a gift.
