This eye catching pendant dates to the late Victorian era (circa 1870). The piece features small pieces of tesserae glass hand set in the form of an insect against a goldstone backdrop set in 14k gold. Goldstone is a glittery copper-hued glass with flecks of gold.
The pendant measures 1.6 inches from top to bottom by 1.3 inches wide. It is in very good condition; however, the 14k gold bail is a later replacement.
We are providing the option to purchase the pendant with or without the 20 inch 10k gold chain depicted in the photos.
