Middle Atlantic PDCOOL-1120R: Rackmount Power & Cooling System
The PDCOOL-1120R from Middle Atlantic is engineered to simplify how you power and cool your critical gear in a single, compact 1U enclosure. This innovative rackmount solution blends a robust power distribution unit with an efficient, built‑in cooling system to protect sensitive electronics in broadcast, post‑production, IT, and AV rack environments. Designed for professional operation, the PDCOOL-1120R helps optimize performance, extend equipment life, and reduce the complexity of rack deployments by delivering reliable power, smart cooling, and streamlined cable management in one space-saving package. - All‑in‑one rackmount solution: power distribution and active cooling in a single 1U chassis, reducing rack clutter and simplifying setup. - Eleven outlets for flexible distribution: ample receptacles to support multiple routers, switches, AV processors, servers, and other critical gear with room to spare. - 20A continuous load capacity: designed to handle demanding equipment footprints without sacrificing safety or reliability. - Integrated cooling with smart control: adjustable fan speed and thermostat‑based cooling help maintain ideal operating temperatures and prevent hot spots. - Front‑panel visibility and ease of use: intuitive controls, LED indicators, and rugged construction for quick status checks and reliable operation in busy rack rooms.how to install PDCOOL-1120R
To get the most from your PDCOOL-1120R, install it in a clean, well‑ventilated rack with adequate clearance around the enclosure to ensure unrestricted airflow. Follow these steps to ensure a safe and efficient setup: - Choose a suitable rack location: select a stable, vibration‑free rack with enough space above and below for air intake and exhaust. Avoid placing the unit directly against warm walls or other heat sources. - Prepare mounting hardware: use the provided rack screws and brackets to secure the PDCOOL-1120R firmly to the rack rails. Ensure the unit sits level and that there is no undue stress on the power cord or outlet connections. - Mount the PDCOOL-1120R: align the chassis with the 19" mounting rails and secure it at the appropriate height (1U). Confirm that the front panel is accessible for controls, indicators, and any routine maintenance tasks. - Connect power and equipment: plug the PDCOOL-1120R into a dedicated 120V power source rated for up to 20A. Then distribute your devices across the 11 outlets, taking care to balance loads to prevent overload on any single outlet. - Configure cooling settings: power on the unit and set the thermostat according to the ambient conditions and your gear’s thermal requirements. If the PDCOOL-1120R includes adjustable fan speed, select a mode that balances noise with cooling efficiency for your environment. - Verify airflow and cabling: ensure front‑to‑rear airflow is unobstructed and that cables are neatly routed to minimize airflow disruption. Use the unit’s built‑in cable management features to keep power and data lines tidy. - Test operation: power on connected devices, monitor the front panel indicators, and confirm that the cooling system engages as expected. Look for stable temperatures and the absence of warning indicators on the front panel. - Establish routine maintenance: periodically inspect outlets for warmth, listen for unusual fan noise, and verify that indicators reflect normal operation. Clean any dust buildup from vents and fans to preserve cooling performance.Shipping Notes

Is it Groundhogs Day?
Format: Kindle
Trapped in Class is Book 1 in the Video Game Elementary by Scott Charles. This book was written for Middle School ages, but, being a Senior Adult, I LOVED It!! This book was pure fun, action and adventure. It must have been Groundhog day because Connor Lamb has been reliving his school day over and over. He, along with the school custodian, Glitch and friends, fight Fanged Slime, Vampire Mold and other monsters. I believe that this series will be a home run with students and the young at heart. A book reluctant readers will love
Format: Kindle
Kids who are Minecraft fans will love Scott Charles’ Trapped in Class, Book 1 of the Video Game Elementary series. Connor is a fourth grader at Video Game Elementary, an online elementary school built inside a fully immersive virtual reality video game. Connor’s watching the clock, waiting for school to end so he can go to his first practice with the Swords Team when suddenly there’s a strange hiss, bleep, crack, and the world fades into white. The next thing Connor knows, it’s morning again. Like some weird, middle school version of Groundhog’s Day, the day has restarted. Stuck in a time loop, Connor must fight Fanged Slime, Vampire Mold, and other monsters to keep the school’s power crystals from being destroyed. Luckily, he has a school custodian, a friend named Glitch, a girls who’s very good at hacking the system, and a cleaning ghost with an attitude to help him. This book is easy to read and action packed. It should be a great hit with kids who’d rather hold a game controller than a book.
