A graceful and symbolic charm featuring a finely sculpted 18k gold snake sinuously wrapped around a baroque pearl, accented by a platinum set diamond. The serpent—long associated with eternity, protection, and transformation—was a favored motif in antique jewelry, and this example displays elegant proportions and expressive detail.
Originally an antique stickpin (circa 1890), the piece was expertly transformed by our jeweler, who removed the stem and added a 14k gold jump ring bail, preserving the original craftsmanship while creating a versatile and wearable charm.
The charm measures approximately 1.05 inches from the top of the jump ring to the bottom by 0.2 inches wide and weighs 1.64 grams.
The gold has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its 14k composition. In excellent antique condition, this charm is a refined example of serpent symbolism and antique artistry, ideal for collectors who appreciate meaningful motifs and finely detailed miniature jewels.
