The Mobil Gargoyle™ Arctic 300 is are high-performance naphthenic mineral oil specifically formulated for use in refrigeration compressors. These oils feature low pour points and exceptional fluidity at very low temperatures due to their nearly wax-free composition. This unique property helps ensure that evaporator tubes remain clean, improving heat transfer and reducing the need for maintenance.

With good chemical stability, this lubricant is suitable for both cylinder and bearing lubrication, offering a versatile solution for your refrigeration needs. They are compatible with most refrigerants, with the exception of sulfur dioxide, but are not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants. When packaged, the moisture content is extremely low, and precautions should be taken to keep the oils dry to prevent the formation of ice in expansion valves and to limit the risks of oil degradation.
