Description:

Fragile Sanctuary
A swoony small-town romance that will set your heart racing.

The scowl should've been my first sign to stay away from Anson Hunt. The sexy smirk and the fact that he's my brother's best friend? Reasons two and three.

Anson is my opposite in every way: grumpy, rude, and loves his solitude. It doesn’t matter how many times I try to kill him with kindness; the man simply won’t crack.

Until he sees me shatter.

When my world falls apart, Anson catches me. And as so-called “accidents” put my life in danger, he steps in to keep me safe.

But Anson has secrets with a price.

And when they're revealed, neither of us will escape unscathed. . .

Delicate Escape
Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been running for as long as I have, which is why moving in with a man I barely know is such a bad idea.

Shepard Colson is all golden-boy charm and devastating good looks. But I know the dangers of easy smiles and promises―I have the scars to prove it.

Only the handsome contractor won’t stop coming by the bakery and prying little truths from my lips―those amber eyes of his seeing far too much.

And when secrets from my past come crashing down, it’s Shep who’s determined to keep me safe. Even if it means moving into my rundown cabin and working his way into my heart.

But a ghost from my old life has unfinished business. And when he finds me, he’ll do anything to tear my life apart. Including ending it for good. . .

Broken Harbor
Since the moment our lives fell apart, the only thing that mattered was making a good life for my seven-year-old son. A life where he was happy and safe.

I just never expected to find safety with a hockey player known for his brutal dominance on the ice and recklessness off it.

But Cope Colson is so much more than his public persona.

And when my life falls apart again, he’s the one picking up the pieces. Until we’re living in his house, eating his chef-worthy meals, and I’m falling for him. Hard.

But Cope has secrets, and so do I.

Forces from our pasts soon emerge from the shadows, and it seems they’ll stop at nothing to end our happiness. Once and for all. . .

Beautiful Exile
I've been running from the past for most of my life, hiding in a small town and hoping no one discovers who I truly am. Which was working just fine until my brother moved his best friend onto our property.

Now, I'm stuck trying to avoid the brooding billionaire's probing questions and piercing stares. And it doesn't help that I almost killed him the first time we met. Oops.

But I can’t ignore him forever. And when all my lies come crashing down, it's Linc who steps in to shield me.

Only, it's not just my safety at risk―it's my heart. Because when Linc touches me, I lose all sense.

We might be building a life together. But Linc and I both have secrets and it’s only a matter of time until the forces from our pasts come back to tear everything apart. Forever.

Chasing Shelter
I came here seeking sanctuary, I never meant to fall for the broody single dad next door.

I've spent my life hiding in plain sight, burying my past beneath layers of carefully constructed lies. Moving to Sparrow Falls was supposed to be a fresh start. A place to lay low. But when I end up living next door to the single dad who just happens to be one of my brother’s best friends, everything changes.

Trace Colson sees too much, asks too many questions, and his protectiveness is as infuriating as it is alluring.

And when danger comes calling, it’s Trace who stands between me and the darkness.

But being close to him is its own kind of risk. Because with every heated glance and every stolen touch, Trace tempts me to open my heart, to dream of a life I’d long since given up on. The only problem? Trace has his own demons, and when they collide with mine, the fallout could destroy us both.

Secret Haven
When I first met Kyler Blackwood, he was a bruised and battered boy with fire in his eyes and nowhere safe to land.

Since the first time he kissed me, he became my best-kept secret, my quiet rebellion, my haven in the storm. Until fate forced us apart, making us pretend to be strangers.

Years later, time hasn't dulled our instant connection, or erased the way we fit together.

We were never meant to cross the line. And tell ourselves this arrangement is only temporary. But with each passing day, the lie starts to feel more like the truth. And, with every stolen touch, Kye feels more like mine. Because some things were never meant to be pretend.

But there are secrets that refuse to remain buried. And some dangers are closer than we ever imagined. . .

Next Level "Hotel" smells
Scent: Bourbon & Oak, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have been searching for a shampoo that not only leaves my hair feeling clean, but also smells great. Cremo has frequently checked a lot of boxes, and this shampoo is no exception.I adore the bourbon and oak scent. Despite giving some hotel shampoo vibes, it smells great once in the air, and I feel good showering with it. It leaves my hair feeling clean and no oily, but still soft. I have thicker hair, but this works in easily. Bottle came perfect, no leaks! Only complaint is I would like a larger bottle with a pump to user easier in the shower!

incredible.
Format: Mass Market Paperback, Format: Mass Market Paperback
i want to recommend this book to every woman i know - but unfortunately, i know soooo many will choose to be offended by its content. it will either strengthen your femininity & rattle your feminist side (i should note that i mean the more extreme, modern meaning), or solidify your feminist ideologies altogether. for me, it was the former. & i'm so grateful. i will say, i think many of the reviews claiming this book is "against women" or "spreading harmful messages" are either taking quotes out of context or the point has gone over their heads completely. elisabeth has made such incredible points about men & women being equally valuable, but simply having different roles in life. she also exaggerated that mature men understand that they have their role not from earning it, but from assignment & are called to love well. so much so, to lay down their lives. this is no way made me feel "less than" or "oppressed" or "victimized". i would say it did the opposite. it made me proud to be a woman. personally, i think this book is incredible & i plan to read it several times in the future. men & women are equal in value, but we were not created for the same roles. & that's *more* than okay, it's beautiful. & God's will is the safest place to be. since i tend to have a hard time articulating my thoughts, here are some bullet points. women are a gift. we were quite literally created to be a helpmeet. we are needed. we are necessary. we have a divine purpose. "i don't want anyone treating me as a person rather than as a woman". a point made that i find interesting - we often see women on a mission to prove "we can do everything a man can do!" (which we cannot), yet, we don't often, if at all, see men trying to prove they can do everything a woman can do (which they can't). people often assume that women embracing the more feminine roles is because of the western societal standards. but if that were true, why do we have yet to discover a successful matriarchal society? globally - villages, tribes, etc. have men as the hunters & warriors, & women as the caregivers & nurturers. is it because we were wired that way? freedom lies in God's will, not rebelling against it. "by being a jellyfish, the jellyfish glorifies its Creator, for by being a jellyfish it fulfills its Creator's command." just like a sailboat sails most beautifully when it sails with the wind, not against it. it's fulfilling it's purpose. "if she was going to make her way in a man's world, she had to be a lady." LOVE THIS QUOTE SO MUCH. "you did in fact marry only a sinner, & so did he. it is grace you both need." "snoring is the sweetest sound in the world. ask any widow." this hit my soul. hard. "you can't find the meaning of a rose by pulling it apart." was such a fabulous quote in regards to not digging too deeply into such trivial things.

Become a woman of God
Format: Kindle
Age Appropriate For: 15 and up (some marital themes and matter best for older readers) Best for Ages: 15 and up Elisabeth Elliot is an incredible woman whom I have looked up to for years. Though I might not always agree with everything she says, I know whatever she says comes from a heart that is devoted to God and is seeking him. As this year I am spending a lot of time reading about Biblical Womanhood, this was high on my list. One of the things I loved about this book is that it was from a mother’s heart to her daughter. So much of the advice felt not like so many of the books on the market, but like I was sitting at her beach home listening to her talk. I felt as if I was peering over Elisabeth’s shoulder reading these letters, unfiltered, no nonsense, but with deep beauty. The advice was so steeped in Scripture without any of the softening that so many books try to do. I loved the way she made fun of feminism and did not shy away from saying things that are politically incorrect with no apology. So many books on womanhood for Christian women (I am finding) almost sound as if they are apologizing for the politically incorrect way God wants women to live. Elisabeth Elliot does not apologize; she shows what a wonderful thing is. This book really got me to thinking in such a good way. I saw so many areas that I need to allow God to work on me. There is nothing as empowering as seeing a reflection of what you are supposed to be, and I found it in this book. Elliott does talk about sex in this book. After all, it is a part of life, womanhood, and her daughter was about to be married. I found this chapter one of the more encouraging ones, oddly enough. I think because she talks about it very matter-of-factly but also doesn’t become crude about it. All her advice and encouragement is steeped in biblical principles and personal experience. I didn’t find it awkward, but rather much like a good mother-daughter talk. I highly recommend this book to women who are trying to live their life aligned with God and the Bible, not the world.
