This LED downlight, a pack of 25 fixed fittings with an IP20 rating, is a versatile solution for mid-range builds and makeover projects. While it's not water-resistant and unsuitable for bathrooms or near water sources, its adaptability shines in various indoor areas such as game rooms, laundry rooms, hallways, home offices, pantries, bedrooms, recreation rooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and storage rooms.

The downlight has a fixed gimbal, making it difficult to redirect light beams when mounted in the ceiling. So, guarantee that you plan everything meticulously before trimming the cut-out hole! It works with any GU10 bulb but requires a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to optimise its dimming feature. The GU10 bulb comes in three LED colours: cool white, natural white, and warm white, suitable for task and ambient lighting.

Our downlight has a beautiful brushed chrome finish, making it a practical and worthwhile investment for those who love restyling their homes. It also has an open-can design that guarantees that the bulb you use with it will last long!

Installation is not an issue with this LED downlight. Its twist-and-lock mechanism allows quick bulb changes while its push-fit terminal block lets you do an easy loop-in/out without the need for screws. Furthermore, it's mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate driver or transformer.

This downlight is insulation-coverable, so it can be safely covered with loft insulation. This feature is only available when pairing the downlight with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. The insulation helps expel heat quickly, reducing warmth in your space and decreasing monthly electrical consumption.

The downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Cutting holes into your ceiling depletes its natural fire barrier, and only a fire-rated downlight like this can maintain your ceiling's fire integrity by inflating an intumescent pad when exposed to specific temperatures. This safety feature provides peace of mind, ensuring your home's fire safety.
