It is prized for its large, vibrant, and fragrant flowers that often display intense sunset colors with dramatic ruffled lips, though flowering characteristics can vary between individual plants of the same cross.

• Light: Requires bright, indirect light. Provide a south or west-facing window with some curtain filtering. Foliage should be a light, apple-green color to ensure blooming.
• Temperature: Prefers warm days of 70–85°F (21–29°C) and significantly cooler nights of 55–65°F (13–18°C). This night-time drop is essential for flower production.
