This bracelet creates an extremely grand effect reminiscent of the lovely 1947 Antrobus Ltd Diamond bracelet that the late Duke of Edinburgh commissioned for his wife, The Queen. Now that minimalism is, thank goodness, fading into the past, this bracelet is a sparkling conversation starter as well as a pleasure to wear.

Trifari was established by Italian Gustavo Trifari, Leo Krussman and Carl Fishel in 1925. The company began by creating jewelry for actors in Hollywood, which raised the profile of the brand. It also capitalised on the increase in interest in costume jewelry, which came about during the Great Depression, when women couldn’t afford expensive fine jewelry.

When renowned French jewelry designer Alfred Philippe (formerly at Van Cleef and Arpels) brought his expertise to the table, Trifari was transformed. Philippe remained at Trifari until his retirement in 1968 and it’s largely due to his ideas and vision that Trifari became a household name with pieces that are still collectible today.

Philippe brought techniques that he had developed for his previous company, such as the use of invisible settings for gemstones. These new techniques made Trifari jewelry distinguished and unique. Today, many collectors look for authentic early Trifari designs signed by Philippe himself. These still have high value and collectability.

Fantastic and Thought-Provoking
Mishima is a complicated figure in literary and Japanese history, but this film manages to capture the complexity of the man without seeming like it either loves or hates him. Great cinematography and the reenactments of Mishima's stories are wonderful. Music is fantastic as well.

Great movie, DVD shipped quickly and in good repair
This is an excellent movie made by one of Scorsese's assistants on Taxi Driver. Combining factual detail with highly stylized excerpts from Mishima's writing, the movie seeks to explain the enigma of this well-known Japanese author. Mishima was a prolific writer, an actor, ran his own private military academy, and in his early forties attempted to bring back the emperor and Bushido to Japanese society. Anyone familiar with the Mishima story knows things ended badly, with Mishima committing traditional Japanese sepuku. The music by Philip Glass adds great dramatic enhancement!

In my opinion this is one of the greatest films ever made
In my opinion this is one of the greatest films ever made, So beautifully shot and composed. An incredible true story that brings goosebumps even after repeated viewings, The extras include a documentary about Mishima that is excellent. Even after seeing this movie and all the extras, reading Mishima’s books and researching him online, I am still puzzled by the man and his myth. Watch this film!!! It will blow you away!
