Replaceable Cleats For Your Impact Adventure Peg.

Our new redesigned cleat is lighter, more sleek platform to better shed mud and debris.

Made from 7075 T6 aluminum for the best structural integrity and wear resistance, our redesigned platform sheds mud and debris more efficiently than our previous platform. The cleat is 112mm long by 58mm wide to provide additional support for your foot. 13 5mm Inserts are positioned for optimal traction and wear resistance.

Better peg traction & much improved comfort while not changing the characteristic of how the peg feels.

The Impact Peg, Patent # US 6390488, accomplishes this by isolating the cleat from touching metal to metal, resulting in the rider experiencing less vibration and abuse transferred to the foot. With the Impact ADV Peg your foot will stay planted, while your feet, ankles and knees will feel better. This adds up to a better day on the bike.

Features:

  1. Comes in a kit of two - For the price listed above you'll get two separate peg cleats, enough to give both of your Impact Moto pegs some TLC!
  2. Absorbs vibration and abuse - The elastomer absorbs vibration allowing your feet to remain better planted on the pegs. High-frequency abuse like spikes, jolts, and bumps are also dramatically reduced through the cushion of the elastomer.
  3. Exceptional traction - A combination of our tooth profile coupled with minimized vibration, and larger platform (112mm x 58mm,) literally grabs hold of the bottom of your boot.
  4. Hard Anodized 7075 T6 Aluminum - Provides exceptional construction, strength and wear resistance.

They're okay, but they're quite bulky.
I liked the design and overall application of these, but they don't fit my needs. They definitely work well at protecting my hands from freezing weather, but they are way too bulky for regular motorcycle use. In my opinion, I feel that these would be much more suited for a snowmobile or ATV. If you treat them as what they’re mostly designed for — ATV/snow-related riding or cold-weather utilitarian use — these gloves are a solid buy. They deliver warmth, weather protection, and decent control through the TPU windows. But if you put them on a fast street motorcycle or expect “motorcycle-glove” levels of control and feel — they’ll likely disappoint or even pose safety trade-offs. In that context, lighter and more control-oriented gloves would probably serve you better. The reason I'm docking stars is because they're marketed toward motorcycle users, and they;re very impractical. The durability seems pretty good, as I've taken them out and even had a couple of rocks/road debris hit the TPU windows with no scratches or punctures. They're not super comfortable to use at highway speeds, especially since they fit so loose, and they tend to press my front brake/clutch which is very dangerous. I personally cannot recommend this product for motorcycle use, unless you already have handguards, which will probably negate the need for these at all. Invest in some good heated gloves and/or heated grips, and I think you'll be much safer and better off in the end. For the price, I think this is a good value, but they're just not for me.

    All ATV owners need these.
These gloves are fabulous. Anybody having fun on a ATV need these. With my hand warmer and these gloves, I don’t wear anything else on my hands. They are great.

    handlebar mittens
Too big. If using during snow plowing they are a burden due to need to take hands off controls, and shift from forward to reverse. Might be okay if just riding around on trails, etc.

Good quality, not great on clutch
The quality of these is very good. They break the wind very well. Too well, actually. On my bike when going above 60 MPH they press hard enough on the clutch to be a problem. I'm sure I'll still use them but they won't be of any value on the interstate. It's possible to hold the clutch while using them but, for me at least, I don't have the strength to do it for my 45 minute commute. Unfortunately, the openings seem to fold up making it difficult to get gloved hands into them quickly, which is my reason for subtracting a star.
