An impressive 74mm Carcharodontosaurus saharicus dinosaur tooth, known as the North African Tyrannosaurus rex for its formidable size. CONDITION

A fully conserved tooth exhibiting excellent preservation with minimal and honest conservation. Slight life dentin wear is present at the tip, and distal serrations survive, with some restoration to the mesial edge. The tooth enamel, preserving dentin-surface patination, displays an attractive and uncommon dark iron red colour throughout its length. The tonal palette is influenced by minerals and aeons of deposition in the Cretaceous fossil bed layer.
