SURGEx S series is fabricated from stainless steel grade 304 as standard and is fitted internally with stainless steel bellows. The end connection of SURGEx S25 C is male threaded size 1 according to NPT. SURGEx S series can withstand pressures up to 400 PSIG (27. 6 BAR) and temperature range from 100F to 300F ( 73C to 149C).

OPERATION
SURGEx-S series water hammer arresters use stainless-steel bellows as the main component to absorb the shock waves caused by water hammer. When a water hammer occurs, the bellows compresses as water rushes into the arrester, creating a cushioning effect that absorbs the pressure surge. As the water flow slows down and pressure stabilizes, the bellows returns to its original position, ready to absorb the next water hammer.
