Mehmed II (Ottoman Turkish: محمد ثانى, romanized: Meḥmed-i s̱ānī; Turkish: II. Mehmed, pronounced 30 March 1432 – 3 May 1481), commonly known as Mehmed the Conqueror (Ottoman Turkish: ابو الفتح, romanized: Ebū'l-fetḥ, lit. 'the Father of Conquest'; Turkish: Fâtih Sultan Mehmed), was twice the sultan of the Ottoman Empire from August 1444 to September 1446 and then later from February 1451 to May 1481.
In Mehmed II's first reign, he defeated the crusade led by John Hunyadi after the Hungarian incursions into his country broke the conditions of the truce per the Treaties of Edirne and Szeged. When Mehmed II ascended the throne again in 1451, he strengthened the Ottoman Navy and made preparations to attack Constantinople. At the age of 21, he conquered Constantinople and brought an end to the Byzantine Empire. After the conquest, Mehmed claimed the title caesar of Rome (Ottoman Turkish: قیصر‎ روم, romanized: qayṣar-i Rūm), based on the fact that Constantinople had been the seat and capital of the surviving Eastern Roman Empire since its consecration in 330 AD by Emperor Constantine I.[5] The claim was only recognized by the Patriarchate of Constantinople. Nonetheless, Mehmed II viewed the Ottoman state as a continuation of the Roman Empire for the remainder of his life, seeing himself as "continuing" the Empire rather than "replacing" it.

Mehmed continued his conquests in Anatolia with its reunification and in Southeast Europe as far west as Bosnia. At home, he made many political and social reforms. He encouraged the arts and sciences, and by the end of his reign, his rebuilding program had changed Constantinople into a thriving imperial capital. He is considered a hero in modern-day Turkey and parts of the wider Muslim world.

Skincare and Hair Care Experience with This Cyperus Rotundus Oil
This cyperus rotundus oil has a lightweight texture with good fluidity, it absorbs quickly when applied to the face, leaving no greasy or heavy feeling, even for combination-oily skin, I mainly use it for facial moisturizing and body care, after washing my face, I warm 2-3 drops in my palms and press it into my skin, and it doesn’t cause pilling when applying makeup afterward, leaving my skin soft and smooth, for hair care, after using it consistently for a month, the hair on my underarms and limbs has become finer, and the growth rate has slowed down significantly, so I don’t need to remove hair frequently, my skin also doesn’t get rough from frequent shaving, there’s no stinging or burning sensation during use, making it safe for sensitive skin, and the light aloe scent is fresh and pleasant, the dropper design is convenient, allowing precise dosage control to avoid waste, in addition to face and body, I also use it for scalp care, after washing my hair, I massage a few drops into my scalp, which relieves dryness and makes my hair smoother and shinier, overall, it delivers noticeable results for both skincare and hair care, with a comfortable user experience.

Absorbs into the skin well and no irritation so far
I bought this Cyperus Rotundus oil to try out, and the 1.85 oz bottle is a good size for me. The oil has a light botanical scent that is pleasant and not too strong. I have applied it a few times and found that it is very easy to use with the included dropper. It absorbs into the skin well and I have noticed no irritation at all, which is important for my daily routine. The bottle arrived quickly and was packaged securely so there were no leaks. It is a practical addition to my shelf, and the glass container feels solid. This product does exactly what it says on the label and provides a straightforward way to use a natural oil. It is a functional and simple purchase that meets my needs perfectly.

Smooth skin without the post-shave itch
I’ve always had issues with my skin feeling super irritated after I shave my legs, so I started applying this Cyperus Rotundus oil right after hopping out of the shower. The quality of the blend is impressive—it’s got jojoba and almond oil too, so it feels very nourishing rather than just sitting on top of the skin. It absorbs quickly enough that I can put on my leggings and head to the gym without feeling like a greaseball. The functionality as a hair inhibitor is a nice bonus. I’ve noticed the hair on my shins seems to be coming back a bit softer and less stubbly than before. For a 55 ml bottle, the value for money is solid since you only need a few drops to cover a large area. It’s a great find for anyone who deals with that annoying sandpaper feeling a day after waxing. My roommate even started using it on her arms because it’s fragrance-free and doesn't mess with her perfume.

Lightweight oil that fits into a simple routine
I started using this oil as part of my regular skincare routine, mainly applying it to areas like my arms and face after showering. The texture feels light and spreads easily without leaving a heavy residue. I noticed it absorbs fairly quickly, which makes it convenient for daily use. It also has a mild scent that is not overwhelming. I like that it includes plant based ingredients, and it leaves my skin feeling soft after application.
