1937年から1941年までアメリカ陸軍航空隊のために生産されていた M-38 Hat をNew Siluette に再設計したHat。丸みと深さのバランスを追求して作られた逸品。
ヨコ糸を高密度に打ち込んだサテン生地を使用。前処理にシルケット加工を施し染色性を増すことで
発色の良い綺麗な素材感を表現した。
NATURAL DYED BEIGEは「楊梅-ヤマモモ」と「柿渋」を使った天然染料染め。
「楊梅-ヤマモモ」「柿渋」共に古来より染色や漢方薬として用いられてきた。タンニンを多く含み、
日を重ねるほどにより一層深い味わいの色となり、経年変化を楽しめる。
MUD DYED BROWNは奄美大島の伝統染色技法「泥染め」を用い、一枚一枚丁寧に染められる。ひと
つとして同じものがなく、唯一無二の表情が楽しめる。

These were ok comfortable. Would have preferred at the price point to be a little more comfortable. For being a wide size, the shoe was rather tight on my feet. Quality is ok.
