Rose de Mai absolute comes from the beautiful pink petals of Rosa x centifolia, famously known as the “hundred-petaled rose.” Originating in sixteenth-century France from a hybrid of several botanical roses, these precious flowers are grown in the iconic Grasse region of France. The epitome of dewy freshness, this legendary absolute is prized for its full, deep, round scent that preserves the aroma of the original plant.
