Released to commemorate Technics' 60th anniversary, the SL-1210GME is the final and most technically advanced version of the SL-1200G and SL-1210G platform — a strictly limited worldwide production run of 1,210 units in Black and 1,200 units in Silver. The SL-1210GME Master Edition takes every refinement made since 2016 and combines them for the first time in a single, final model. The coreless twin-rotor direct drive motor uses a stator board reinforced following the same pattern as the Reference Class SP-10R and SL-1000R. The Delta Sigma Drive's PWM carrier frequency has been expanded from approximately 2 kHz to over 20 kHz, eliminating motor-generated micro-vibrations from the audible range entirely. A four-layer PCB with separated power and ground lines for motor, digital, and LED circuits further improves electrical isolation and board rigidity. Current Injection Active Noise Cancelling combines noise detection and error amplifier technology to cancel residual noise via inverse current, outperforming conventional voltage regulators.
