Ian Fisher etabliert sich auf seinem Album „Idle Hands“ selbstbewusst als moderner Songwriter mit klassischem Touch. Die darauf enthaltenen Songs sind inspiriert vom Klang der 1970er Jahre. Die Rhythmusgruppe und den Leadgesang nahmen Ian und seine Band gemeinsam live in Ostberlin auf. Streicherarrangements und Pedal-Steel-Gitarre kamen später hinzu, und der geschmackvolle Hintergrundgesang der dänischen Sängerin Ida Wenøe rundete das Album ab. Entstanden ist ein abwechslungsreiches und lebendiges Album. Ian singt mit unverhohlener Stimme Texte, die Komplexität in Einfachheit verbergen und die Grenze zwischen Persönlichem und Politischem verschwimmen lässt.

There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
