Der Kintsugi Viognier eröffnet mit einem eleganten Duft nach weißen Blüten, reifer Aprikose und Pfirsich, durchzogen von Zitrusnoten und einem Hauch frisch geschnittenem Granny-Smith-Apfel. Im Hintergrund zeigt sich dezente tropische Frucht, die an Ananas erinnert, sowie eine feine mandelige oder nussige Komponente. Im Glas entwickelt sich eine cremige Textur mit reicher Fruchtfülle, ohne an Frische einzubüßen. Am Gaumen dominieren Aromen von Aprikose, Pfirsich und gelbem Steinobst, getragen von kalkiger Mineralität und subtiler Säure, die dem Wein Spannung verleiht. Fein eingebundene Holznuancen geben Wärme und Tiefe. Der Abgang ist elegant und anhaltend, mit einem Nachhall von Zitrus, Steinobst und einer zarten Honignote.

Der Viognier ist ein charaktervoller Weißwein, der besonders für seine intensiven Aromen von Aprikosen, Pfirsichen und floralen Noten wie Jasmin und Veilchen geschätzt wird. Ursprünglich aus Frankreich stammend, gedeiht er heute auch in Kalifornien, Australien und anderen Weinregionen weltweit.

Seine reiche Textur und sein voller Körper machen ihn zu einem ausgezeichneten Begleiter zu würzigen Gerichten, Meeresfrüchten und cremigen Saucen.

Ein gut ausbalancierter Viognier bietet eine schöne Säure, die seine Fruchtigkeit hervorhebt.

Der Kintsugi Viognier passt hervorragend zu aromatischen und fein gewürzten Gerichten. Seine cremige Textur und fruchtige Fülle harmonieren wunderbar mit gegrilltem Fisch, Jakobsmuscheln oder Hähnchen in Zitronenbutter. I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.
