Royal Canin Urinary S/O ist ein diätetisches Alleinfuttermittel in Trockenform für ausgewachsene Katzen zur Auflösung von Struvitsteinen und zur Verringerung von Struvitsteinrezidiven. Die Rezeptur wirkt harnsäuernd und unterstützt ein Harnmilieu, das für Struvit und Calciumoxalat weniger geeignet ist. Durch Förderung der Harnverdünnung und einen niedrigen RSS Wert kann die Konzentration kristallbildender Ionen gesenkt werden. Ein geringer Magnesiumgehalt unterstützt zusätzlich, da Magnesium eine natürliche Komponente von Struvitkristallen ist.
